Nordic nuclear output Wednesday 11,574 MW (95%)
(Montel) Nordic nuclear power production is running at 11,574 MW on Wednesday morning, down 3 MW from Tuesday with the reactors using 95% of installed generation capacity (12,160 MW).
The operator will start to upgrade the output at Forsmark 2 from 996 MW to 1,110 MW on 15 March. The upgrade will be completed after a seven-week long test period.
Output at Ringhals 1 will be limited to 750 MW until annual maintenance begins due to a steam leak, the operator said last week.
Oskarshamn 2 will not return to a capacity higher than about 560 MW until after its annual outage, due to a problem with turbine blades.
OKG will keep its Oskarshamn 1 reactor offline until a scheduled maintenance outage starting on 26 May.
Figures for installed capacity correspond with those used by the operators in urgent market messages (UMM)
